To whom it may concern, In the fall of 2013 I had to relocate out of state for work. The condo market was soft so I decided to rent out my unit. I was approached by a fellow coworker who was very insistent telling me that he himself had rental units and would be able to manage my unit for a nominal fee. I was apprehensive but decided to give him a try .Since I had little time to get relocated to my new location and job, I was reliant on this person to do the right thing. I gave him 500.00 up front to defray his expenses of obtaining a tenant and 10 percent of the rent. He promised to fully vett whoever he was going to rent my condo to but ended up renting to the first person that came along and that someone had very poor credit. He seemed interested only in renting my unit to anyone who had the cash. He also nickel and dimed me For everything he could charge me for even the most ridiculous maintenance issues, even though I left my condo in perfect condition . He seemed to forget he was working for me and not the tenant. The lease he had the tenant sign was hand written. He obtained little information about the tenant’s history and when I asked him to give me a w9 form for tax purposes he refused. Sometimes he would go out of town and not even collect the rent on time. He was also unresponsive to my requests and seem to act put out if I requested documentatuon of any kind. Since working with the great people at polaris I have had the greatest customer service. The way they have handle my rental property has been top notch. They are truly professionals and I feel that they truly have my back. I can’t thank Dan Baldini and his team for everything they have done for me and would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone looking for a property management company.
I just wish I went to them in the first place, I know my life these last 15 months would been much easier.
