Amongst the nuggets of gold panned from the river of information was this picture and the tough-love point made by the speaker:
“Our Clients sometimes can act like this little girl. Our role, as the experienced professional, is to convince them to eat their broccoli.”
It takes patience to not get mad. It takes creativity to get the arms unfolded. And it takes experience to know how to combine patience and creativity to get the desired outcome.
As my staff finishes up 2012 activity, we reflect on the broccoli we successfully convinced You, our Clients, to enjoy. We are also reflecting on the broccoli we ate ourselves.
Rest assured, in 2013 our plate will have the yummy green stuff on it aplenty.
